Ashley T. Steffen is a member of The Florida Bar whose practice is focused on sophisticated estate planning, probate, and trust administration. She advises individuals and families on the development and implementation of comprehensive estate plans designed to address their personal, family, and financial objectives, and counsels clients through the administration of estates and trusts following the death of a loved one.

With 12 years of experience, Ashley has substantial experience handling complex taxable and non-taxable estates, including matters involving significant assets, intricate family dynamics, tax considerations, and sophisticated planning structures. She represents personal representatives, trustees, beneficiaries, and families in probate and trust administration matters, providing thoughtful guidance through each stage of the process.

Ashley earned her B.A. from Florida State University and her J.D. from St. Thomas University School of Law. She subsequently earned an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, giving her an advanced understanding of federal tax principles that informs her approach to estate planning and administration.

Before joining Snyder & Snyder, P.A., Ashley practiced probate, trust, and guardianship administration at a national Am Law 200 firm. Her experience includes complex estate and trust administration, estate and gift tax matters, and sophisticated estate planning for individuals and families with diverse and often complex financial circumstances.

Ashley has been recognized by Best Lawyers®: Ones to Watch in America in the area of Trusts and Estates. She is also a past Chair of the Wills, Trusts & Estates Section of the Broward County Bar Association.
